Visible transformation - wheatgrass in window

Exciting day tomorrow, as we'll be delivering professional development workshops at two different schools.  We're starting our day at Hanahauʻoli School delivering our iPad+ workshop to faculty and staff.  Then we head to Hongwanji Mission School to deliver an iBooks Author workshop for the Japanese language teachers.

For the new site's inaugural blog post, I thought this recent photo reflects our mission as well as our own journey.  The wheatgrass pictured above is the result of less than a week of growth from a mini aquaponics kit we bought for the kids two weeks ago (more on that in future posts).  All we needed to do was add water and a small fish (a betta named Jet Fighter, or "Jet" for short, by our 5 year old).  So, out of a few well designed parts and raw ingredients, combined with some care and nurturing, we get to witness an incredible transformation.  Like many other learning opportunities, we made interesting discoveries, such as the appearance of water at the tips of each blade of grass.

Similarly, we look forward to the discoveries and transformations our clients witness as their skills and capabilities grow.
