A recent report by executive search firm Spencer Stuart supports my own observations about organizational communications and the need for digital and social media expertise.  "Rising CCO" explored the perspectives of chief communications officers from around the world.  Traditional media remains an important communications tool, but a strong majority of respondents also focused on the importance of content creation and new media.  

The top three themes that emerged from the surveys:

  • Technology Advancement
  • Social Media
  • Development of Media Platforms
